Clinical Services
Our library of tests includes, but is not limited to, panels for the following diagnostic problems:
- Cancer of unknown origin
- Pleural mesothelioma versus lung primary
- Peritoneal mesothelioma versus serous papillary carcinoma of ovary
- Breast invasive versus in situ
- Prostate cancer versus benign
- Soft tissue tumor typing
- Small round blue cell tumor typing
- Hematolymphoid processes: diagnosis and typing
The following Prognostic/Predictive markers are available:
- DCC (deleted in colon cancer)
- EGFR (epidermal growth factor receptor)
- ER and PR
- Her2neu (we use FISH as our first line test)
- Ki67 (proliferation)
- Microsatellite instability / Mismatch repair
- All cases are tested with both immunohistology and PCR
- MLH1
- MSH2
- MSH6
- PMS2
